Bemused observationAt Yahoo Canada’s “In the News” section currently, amongst such news headlines as “Iran has new plan to end nuclear standoff”, and “Credit squeeze fells Conquest Vacations”, it is deemed newsworthy to have as a headline, “American Idol Judges spare Matt Giraud” ??? What does it say about our society today when the decisions of the American Idol judges to spare a particular contestant from elimination is considered “newsworthy” and makes it into the top news headlines of Yahoo? 1 comment to Bemused observation |
