Some translation..

I’d define Stephen Harper’s non-answer to where he got his opinion based on international precedent or law that Omar Khadr was not a child soldier as being basically this: they don’t care about international law and its definitions, because it inconveniently for the PM shows he’s incorrect in his assertion on Khadr.

My only surprise is they took 2 weeks to make that clear. Perhaps they were frantically researching, couldn’t find anything to base Harper’s opinion on, and thus finally went with the “no comment” answer. Perhaps the opposition parties should be asking Harper this question over and over in QP, if he refuses to give an answer to the media and until he answers one way or the other.
