I realize Jason Bo Green’s little representation of me in this piece is probably not to be taken as a compliment (if you get the representation/meaning behind the character in the play he’s referring to, and not surprising since he and I don’t see eye-to-eye on most things either politically or personally), but I suppose I should be flattered that I’m considered enough of a “who’s-who” in the blogosphere to merit getting included in it.

And I have to admit the piece is pretty well done.. some amusing caricatures he uses for a lot of well-known blog personalities.

  • I’m upset that I only got a passing mention. :em21:

  • Well to be honest.. I thought you were more aiming at what the theme of the movie was about as mentioned here.

But if you meant it as a compliment.. I’ll retract my statement.

  • Sheesh, tough crowd! It’s a proactive and aggressive performance by the second most progressive actress of her era railing against passivity and reactivity while attempting to seduce a young intellectual to her side – I thought it fit pretty well. 🙁

Anyway, ask Taylor herself – it’s when they stop talking about you that you should worry.
